Transit's Roots
The members of Transit have been into music since childhood for the most part. Each of them have unique stories to tell and have a love of classic rock. They never shy away from difficult songs. Transit is known for their very accurate renditions of cover songs from the classic rock '80s bands like Journey, Bon Jovi, Foreigner, Guns & Roses and more. Each member of the band has perfected their parts to replicate as closely as possible the music we all love from the Classic Rock era.
Lyndon Blanchard
Lyndon is not only a talented singer but can make a keyboard sing as well. Lyndon and Tod grew up with music ingrained in their family. They have happily carried on the family's musical traditions.

Darren or "D" as we like to call him is also a musician from a very young age. D can be counted on to sing some of our fav songs such as "Tom Sawyer"and "Jessie's Girl". D is quite the rocker and can play a bass unapologetically "rocking the house".

Tod has played drums since a young child. It is said that once is picked up a set of drum sticks he never put 'em down! He like his brother, Lyndon, is a talented singer and has a voice likened to John Mayer (so his wife says).

Mark is truly a master when it comes to playing a guitar. Transit is known for his style and perfection in playing the likes of Boston, Ozzy Osborne, and Journey. He guards his prized guitars and takes great pride in his talent, deservingly so!

Transit is a classic rock cover band started in 2005 with Lyndon Blanchard, Darren Metrejean, Mark Duke and Tod Blanchard. We play in South Louisiana and other areas by request for special events and bookings for local venues and entertainment businesses.
